Dr. Rubinstein began clinical practice in 1993, and then joined a growing hospital-owned group practice in 1994. He was eventually elected Chairperson of the Governance Council of this large multi-specialty group, comprised of 45 physicians in 7 locations. In 1999 he established a solo practice with the goal of providing quality health care using an integrative approach to healing and wellness. Dr. Rubinstein has always believed effective communication and trust are the cornerstone of the doctor patient relationship.
He is skilled in psychopharmacology and can treat patients with a wide range of medical problems, including addiction to prescription painkillers and heroin. He is certified by the US DEA to prescribe Buprenoprhine for patients addicted to opioids.
